Project History

WebCrane has been working closely with Piccalilly for nearly 7 years. Piccalilly had a nicely styled website written on a bespoke platform. Unfortunately it had poor SEO capability and was difficult to maintain. WebCrane re-platformed the website onto the Magento 1 framework and took care of the data migration and integration with Piccalilly’s existing stock record system. Piccalilly is a well established baby and kids clothing company that specialises in organic cotton and ethical business practices and it was important to maintain the brand identity whilst moving the site. The migration was seamless and the first order on the website was taken within 5 minutes of going live.

After the initial rollout, WebCrane made a large number of functional improvements to the site, including a wholesale site, as well as integrations to Google Merchant Center, Google Ads, Amazon and Sage 50 Accounting.

More recently the site has been successfully re-platformed to Magento 2.
